{"id":482,"date":"2011-09-19T21:33:33","date_gmt":"2011-09-19T20:33:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.notnick.com\/cookbook\/?p=482"},"modified":"2020-02-29T23:33:40","modified_gmt":"2020-02-29T22:33:40","slug":"chocolate-nut-brownie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.notnick.com\/cookbook\/chocolate-nut-brownie\/","title":{"rendered":"Chocolate nut brownie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>6 oz good dark chocolate<br \/>\n1\/3cup butter<br \/>\n3\/4cup sugar<br \/>\n1 tsp vanilla essence<br \/>\n2 eggs at room temperature<br \/>\n1\/2 cup all plain flour<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp salt<br \/>\n1\/4 cup chopped nuts &#8211; hazelnuts or walnuts.<br \/>\n1\/4 cup white chocolate chips<\/p>\n<p>In a bowl, melt the chocolate and the butter together, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly, then stir in the sugar, followed by the vanilla.<br \/>\nStir in the eggs 1 at a time, then add the flour and salt. Stir until no traces of flour are visible, then add the nuts.
