Pretty good with a glass of red.<\/p>\n<p>or beer<\/p>\n<p>or G&amp;T.<\/p>\n<p>or on their own.<\/p>\n<p>Makes about 40.<\/p>\n<p>4ozs butter at room temperature<br \/>\n2ozs semolina<br \/>\n4ozs self raising flour<br \/>\n3ozs vintage cheddar cheese (grated)<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon of salt<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon of dry mustard<br \/>\nabout 40 halved salted cashew nuts<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>cream together all ingredients except nuts<br \/>\nform into small balls put onto baking sheet<br \/>\npress down to flatten slightly &#8211;\u00a0 top biscuit with nut<\/p>\n<p>Bake at 350F for 15 minutes until pale golden.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My mum makes these every Christmas &#8211; a big box of them that comes out for nibbles with drinks.
