The metric tonne of baking powder makes the waffles fizz up and fill any mould. The waffles and light and airy, but not overly crisp.<\/p>\n<p>2 tbl white sugar<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n3 tbl melted butter<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups milk<br \/>\n1 tsp vanilla essence<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups flour<br \/>\n3 1\/2 tsp baking powder<\/p>\n<p>mix it all up, and let it rest for 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sooo- this batter works really well in a thick waffle iron.
