We’ve had Poppy home for a few days now and it’s been a total delight.\u00a0 I don’t know why people want to tell me that her smiles are just wind – she can smile – in 4 different languages!\u00a0 She’s managed to get back to her birth weight – 7lbs 10oz (should take about 2 weeks but she did it in\u00a07 days) and in fact, is now 8lbs.\u00a0 The little bloater takes after her dad!\u00a0 We’re still trying to work out when she’s hungry, needs a change or just a cuddle (our preferred solution to any crying).\u00a0\u00a0 But we might have found an alternative source of Gas energy though- her nappy!\u00a0<\/p>\n
Thankfully she’s not a crier but she did have a good go last night but we think she was just dog tired after her first day out. We’re still stuck on a middle name, so if anyone has any suggestions that will go with the surname please let us know; we’ve only got a few days left to register her birth.
